Auction result misses estimated price range
In November 2005 a collector was able to acquire the work A Side Street Off The Docks by Geneviève Gallibert for GBP 192.00 (€ 282.07). This price was achieved in the auction British and Continental Pictures at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 200.00 – 400.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Geneviève Gallibert have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in October 2003 by the work A villa amongst olive trees in the south of France at GBP 352.50 (€ 514.86).
