Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Carré jaune (Symphonie Tryptique) by Geneviève Claisse was auctioned at Bonhams in June this year. The price achieved of EUR 2,816.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Admittedly, works by Geneviève Claisse have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work H in December 2021 with an auction result of USD 27,500.00 (€ 24,297.58).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Carré jaune (Symphonie Tryptique) von Geneviève Claisse kam im Juni diesen Jahres bei Bonhams zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 2.816,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 2.500,00 – 3.500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Geneviève Claisse auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit H im Dezember 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.500,00 (€ 24.297,58).
