A top price for Gé-Karel van der Sterren - as previously expected
The work Dutch Untitled by Gé-Karel van der Sterren was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in March 2010. The price achieved of EUR 6,250.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Dutch Untitled is the most expensive artwork by Gé-Karel van der Sterren that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dutch Untitled von Gé-Karel van der Sterren kam im März 2010 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 6.250,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Auch wenn das Ergebnis damit nicht positiv überraschen konnte, ist Dutch Untitled das teuerste Kunstwerk von Gé-Karel van der Sterren, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
