Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Que Viva Mexico by Gastone Novelli was sold in the Milan Modern and Contemporary Art auction at Christies in Milan in April 2018. The price achieved of EUR 35,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gastone Novelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Que Viva Mexico von Gastone Novelli wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion Milan Modern and Contemporary Art bei Christies in Mailand versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 35.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 30.000,00 – 40.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gastone Novelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32).
