Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2021 Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Munkar e Nakir by Gastone Novelli. The price achieved of EUR 45,000.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 35,000.00 – 50,000.00. Admittedly, works by Gastone Novelli have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2021 führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Munkar e Nakir von Gastone Novelli zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 45.000,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 35.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gastone Novelli auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32).
