The work Allunga Il Passo Amico Mio by Gastone Novelli was auctioned at Sothebys in Milan in November 2019. The result of EUR 100,000.00 was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of EUR 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Gastone Novelli - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam), which sold at auction in June 2011 for GBP 187,250.00 (€ 207,157.32).
Zuschlag beim unteren Schätzpreis
Die Arbeit Allunga Il Passo Amico Mio von Gastone Novelli kam im November 2019 bei Sothebys in Mailand zur Auktion. Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von EUR 100.000,00 entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 100.000,00 – 150.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Gastone Novelli mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Caro Vietnam (Dear Vietnam) beobachtet, die im Juni 2011 für GBP 187.250,00 (€ 207.157,32) versteigert wurde.
