Admittedly, works by Gaston Chaissac have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Le Locataire Du Premier, 1956 in April 2007 with an auction result of EUR 299,335.00.

Die Arbeit Sans titre - 1963 von Gaston Chaissac kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Artcurial zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 39.360,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 57 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Gaston Chaissac auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Le Locataire Du Premier, 1956 im April 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 299.335,00.
