Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Garry Fabian Miller could be acquired at Christies in London in September 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Post-War & Contemporary Art auction, the work Sections of England: The Sea Horizon No. 9 changed hands for GBP 875.00 (€ 1,012.03) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garry Fabian Miller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Northern Sun I September in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,860.88).
