Auction result well in line with expectations
In September 2010 Christies in London held the auction Post-War & Contemporary Art, which included the work Sections of England: The Sea Horizon No. 6 by Garry Fabian Miller. The price achieved of GBP 1,375.00 (€ 1,590.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garry Fabian Miller achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Northern Sun I September in March 2019 with an auction result of GBP 16,250.00 (€ 18,860.88).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im September 2010 führte Christies in London die Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Sections of England: The Sea Horizon No. 6 von Garry Fabian Miller zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.375,00 (€ 1.590,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Garry Fabian Miller erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Northern Sun I September im März 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 16.250,00 (€ 18.860,88).
