Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2006 Christies in London held the auction British and Victorian Pictures, which included the work Two Young Girls By The Sea by Garnet Ruskin Wolseley. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 3,600.00 (€ 5,158.15), 20% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garnet Ruskin Wolseley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Bluebells in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 91,658.13).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2006 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Victorian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Two Young Girls By The Sea von Garnet Ruskin Wolseley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 3.600,00 (€ 5.158,15) und damit 20% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Garnet Ruskin Wolseley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Bluebells im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 91.658,13).
