Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Mounts Bay, Cornwall by Garnet Ruskin Wolseley. The price achieved of GBP 600.00 (€ 882.94) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 500.00 – 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Garnet Ruskin Wolseley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Picking Bluebells in June 2011 with an auction result of GBP 82,850.00 (€ 91,658.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Mounts Bay, Cornwall von Garnet Ruskin Wolseley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 600,00 (€ 882,94) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 500,00 – 700,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Garnet Ruskin Wolseley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Picking Bluebells im Juni 2011 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 82.850,00 (€ 91.658,13).
