This work without title by Gao Qian was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2018. It achieved a price of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,748.93), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 46%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Qian achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Chanel No.5 in October 2014 with an auction result of HKD 437,500.00 (€ 45,041.90).

Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Gao Qian kam im Mai 2018 bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.748,93) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 46%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Qian erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Chanel No.5 im Oktober 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 437.500,00 (€ 45.041,90).
