Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2015 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper, which included the work Monodrama by Gao Qian. The price achieved of HKD 236,000.00 (€ 27,274.68) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 200,000.00 – 300,000.00. Other works by Gao Qian have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in October 2014 the work Chanel No.5 was auctioned for HKD 437,500.00 (€ 45,041.90).

Im April 2015 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese Modern and Contemporary Works on Paper durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monodrama von Gao Qian zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 236.000,00 (€ 27.274,68) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 200.000,00 – 300.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Gao Qian konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Oktober 2014 die Arbeit Chanel No.5 für HKD 437.500,00 (€ 45.041,90) versteigert.
