In the Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center auction, the work Five-character Calligraphic Couplet in Cursive Script sold for HKD 100,000.00 (€ 11,327.09) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 50,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gao Jianfu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moon Night in October 2021 with an auction result of HKD 4,560,000.00 (€ 507,236.84).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gao Jianfu erzielte im Dezember 2021 bei Christies einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Exquisite Eye: Chinese Paintings Online including the Collection of Sun Ah Book Center wurde die Arbeit Five-character Calligraphic Couplet in Cursive Script für HKD 100.000,00 (€ 11.327,09) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 50.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gao Jianfu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moon Night im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 4.560.000,00 (€ 507.236,84).
