This work without title by Gandy Brodie was sold in the Modern & Contemporary Art auction at Bonhams in Skinner Marlborough, Massachusetts in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 2,167.50 (€ 2,099.68), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Other works by Gandy Brodie have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,288.98) in April 2010 for the work Three works: Candelabra; Nest of Eggs on Branch; Portrait of an Elderly Woman.
