Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Vitral by Gabriel Orozco was sold in the Photographs auction at Phillips in London in May last year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 6,930.00 (€ 8,152.49) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel Orozco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dandelion in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 795,000.00 (€ 681,233.93).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Vitral von Gabriel Orozco wurde im Mai letzten Jahres in der Auktion Photographs bei Phillips in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 6.930,00 (€ 8.152,49) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Orozco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dandelion im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 795.000,00 (€ 681.233,93).
