Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Light Through Leaves by Gabriel Orozco was sold in the Prints & Multiples: First Impression auction at Christies in London in September 2015. The price achieved of GBP 5,625.00 (€ 7,617.59) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel Orozco achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dandelion in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 795,000.00 (€ 681,233.93).

Die Arbeit Light Through Leaves von Gabriel Orozco wurde im September 2015 in der Auktion Prints & Multiples: First Impression bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 5.625,00 (€ 7.617,59) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Orozco erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dandelion im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 795.000,00 (€ 681.233,93).
