Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French Portrait Of The Duc De Chartres' Children: The Duc De Guise And One Of His Sisters, The Future Duchesse De Magenta by Gabriel Ferrier was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in April 2010. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 20,000.00 – 30,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 21,250.00 (€ 15,975.04) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Admittedly, works by Gabriel Ferrier have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work French Judith in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 70,348.93).

Die Arbeit French Portrait Of The Duc De Chartres' Children: The Duc De Guise And One Of His Sisters, The Future Duchesse De Magenta von Gabriel Ferrier kam im April 2010 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 20.000,00 – 30.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 21.250,00 (€ 15.975,04) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
