This price was achieved in the auction Old Master and 19th Century Drawings at Artcurial and exceeded the previously set upper estimate of EUR 900.00 many times over. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gabriel Ferrier achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work French Judith in November 2014 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 70,348.93).
