Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work Paysage dans le bleu et le vert by Gabriel Godard for USD 2,400.00 (€ 1,878.96). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 9,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Gabriel Godard have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2014 by the work without title at USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,374.00).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Paysage dans le bleu et le vert von Gabriel Godard für USD 2.400,00 (€ 1.878,96) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 9.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Gabriel Godard wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2014 die Arbeit ohne Titel mit USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.374,00).
