Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by G. L. Brierley was sold in the Wired: Online Auction auction at Phillips in an online auction in November 2021. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,386.00 (€ 1,627.29) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by G. L. Brierley - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work "Pacifier II"., which sold at auction in June last year for EUR 5,280.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von G. L. Brierley wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Wired: Online Auction bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.386,00 (€ 1.627,29) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Für andere Arbeiten von G. L. Brierley mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit "Pacifier II". beobachtet, die im Juni letzten Jahres für EUR 5.280,00 versteigert wurde.
