A top price for Fūgai Ekun
The work Daruma by Fūgai Ekun was sold in the Japanese Art Including Property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art auction at Christies in New York in March 2006. Here, the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 31,200.00 (€ 25,702.28). With this result, Daruma is even the most expensive work of art by Fūgai Ekun that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Fūgai Ekun
Die Arbeit Daruma von Fūgai Ekun wurde im März 2006 in der Auktion Japanese Art Including Property of The Metropolitan Museum of Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 30.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 31.200,00 (€ 25.702,28) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Daruma sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Fūgai Ekun, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
