Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In October this year China Guardian held the auction Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy, which included the work Waterfall In The Montains by Fu Baoshi. Here, the upper estimate of HKD 3,800,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for HKD 4,200,000.00 (€ 507,910.67). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Baoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 16,764,000.00 (€ 17,119,323.91).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Oktober diesen Jahres führte China Guardian die Auktion Fine Chinese Paintings and Calligraphy durch, in der auch die Arbeit Waterfall In The Montains von Fu Baoshi zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von HKD 3.800.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für HKD 4.200.000,00 (€ 507.910,67) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Baoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.764.000,00 (€ 17.119.323,91).
