Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Tao Yuanming by Fu Baoshi was auctioned at China Guardian in Hong Kong in April this year. The price achieved of HKD 6,000,000.00 (€ 6,127,173.91) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 5,000,000.00 – 8,000,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Fu Baoshi - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Beauty, which sold at auction in April this year for HKD 16,764,000.00 (€ 17,119,323.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Tao Yuanming von Fu Baoshi kam im April diesen Jahres bei China Guardian in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 6.000.000,00 (€ 6.127.173,91) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 5.000.000,00 – 8.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Fu Baoshi mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Beauty beobachtet, die im April diesen Jahres für HKD 16.764.000,00 (€ 17.119.323,91) versteigert wurde.
