Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Mountains in the Clouds by Fu Baoshi was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in April last year. The price achieved of HKD 693,000.00 (€ 83,788.74) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 500,000.00 – 1,000,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fu Baoshi achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Beauty in April this year with an auction result of HKD 16,764,000.00 (€ 17,119,323.91).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Mountains in the Clouds von Fu Baoshi kam im April letzten Jahres bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 693.000,00 (€ 83.788,74) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 500.000,00 – 1.000.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fu Baoshi erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Beauty im April diesen Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 16.764.000,00 (€ 17.119.323,91).
