Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2012 Sothebys in Toronto held the auction Important Canadian Art, which included the work Still-Life by Fritz Brandtner. The price achieved of CAD 12,000.00 (€ 9,287.32) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as CAD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Fritz Brandtner have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Interior in May 2012 with an auction result of CAD 71,500.00 (€ 55,874.56).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2012 führte Sothebys in Toronto die Auktion Important Canadian Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still-Life von Fritz Brandtner zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von CAD 12.000,00 (€ 9.287,32) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit CAD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Fritz Brandtner auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Interior im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von CAD 71.500,00 (€ 55.874,56).
