A top price for Fritz B. Althaus - as previously expected
The work Evening Light Over Windsor Castle by Fritz B. Althaus was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2007. The price achieved of GBP 1,062.50 (€ 1,443.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Evening Light Over Windsor Castle is the most expensive artwork by Fritz B. Althaus that we have observed at auctions so far.
