Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2012 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art, which included the work Dutch a Beach Stroll by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 30,000.00 – 50,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 32,500.00 (€ 26,285.99) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2012 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch a Beach Stroll von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 30.000,00 – 50.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 32.500,00 (€ 26.285,99) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 488.754,96).
