Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Welcomed Attention by Federico Andreotti was sold in the 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art auction at Christies in New York in October 2008. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 80,500.00 (€ 63,475.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Federico Andreotti - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The young suitor, which sold at auction in June 2007 for GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Welcomed Attention von Federico Andreotti wurde im Oktober 2008 in der Auktion 19th Century European Art and Orientalist Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 80.500,00 (€ 63.475,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
