Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Italian The Letter by Federico Andreotti was sold in the Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art auction at Sothebys in New York in February 2018. The price achieved of USD 30,000.00 (€ 24,568.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 25,000.00 – 35,000.00. Admittedly, works by Federico Andreotti have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).

Die Arbeit Italian The Letter von Federico Andreotti wurde im Februar 2018 in der Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 30.000,00 (€ 24.568,01) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 25.000,00 – 35.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
