In February 2018 Sothebys in New York held the auction Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art, which included the work Italian a Bashful Maiden by Federico Andreotti. The »bidding war« ended at USD 16,250.00 (€ 13,307.67), 35% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Andreotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 35 % übertroffen
Im Februar 2018 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Fine Old Master & 19th Century European Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Italian a Bashful Maiden von Federico Andreotti zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 16.250,00 (€ 13.307,67) und damit 35% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
