Auction result misses estimated price range
In October 2019 a collector was able to acquire the work The Posy by Federico Andreotti for USD 6,250.00 (€ 5,602.87). This price was achieved in the auction European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Andreotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Oktober 2019 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Posy von Federico Andreotti für USD 6.250,00 (€ 5.602,87) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion European Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
