Auction result misses estimated price range

This work of art by Federico Andreotti could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2010 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The Barratt Collection - from Crowe Hall, Bath auction, the work An interesting read changed hands for GBP 2,750.00 (€ 3,189.99) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Federico Andreotti achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The young suitor in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 90,000.00 (€ 133,555.47).

Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieses Kunstwerk von Federico Andreotti konnte im Dezember 2010 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion The Barratt Collection - from Crowe Hall, Bath wechselte die Arbeit An interesting read für GBP 2.750,00 (€ 3.189,99) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Federico Andreotti erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The young suitor im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 90.000,00 (€ 133.555,47).
