Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2008 Sothebys in New York held the auction 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale, which included the work Dutch The Promenade by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer. The price achieved of USD 68,500.00 (€ 54,013.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 60,000.00 – 80,000.00. Admittedly, works by Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland in November 2013 with an auction result of USD 665,000.00 (€ 488,754.96).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2008 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion 19th Century European Art including The Orientalist Sale durch, in der auch die Arbeit Dutch The Promenade von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 54.013,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 60.000,00 – 80.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederik Hendrik Kaemmerer auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch beach At Scheveningen, Holland im November 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 665.000,00 (€ 488.754,96).
