The work On The Banks Of The Nile by Frederick Goodall was sold in the The Fine Art Society: 142 Years on New Bond Street auction at Sothebys in London in February 2019. The auction ended at the price of GBP 5,000.00 (€ 5,832.67), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Goodall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Trespassers in December 2006 with an auction result of GBP 198,400.00 (€ 294,450.44).
