Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints, which included the work Lyndhurst Church by Frederick Golden Short. The price achieved of GBP 384.00 (€ 570.33) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Admittedly, works by Frederick Golden Short have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work A Cornish cove in November 2001 with an auction result of GBP 1,997.50 (€ 3,178.65).

Im Juli 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures & Prints durch, in der auch die Arbeit Lyndhurst Church von Frederick Golden Short zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 384,00 (€ 570,33) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 300,00 – 500,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Frederick Golden Short auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit A Cornish cove im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.997,50 (€ 3.178,65).
