Auction result well in line with expectations
In November last year Bonhams in New York held the auction The Estate of Melvin S. Rosenthal, which included this untitled work by Fred Eversley. The price achieved of USD 138,975.00 (€ 134,626.56) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 120,000.00 – 180,000.00. Other works by Fred Eversley have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2019 the work without title was auctioned for USD 250,000.00 (€ 222,677.47).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in New York die Auktion The Estate of Melvin S. Rosenthal durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Fred Eversley zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 138.975,00 (€ 134.626,56) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 120.000,00 – 180.000,00 angegeben worden. Andere Arbeiten von Fred Eversley konnten bereits höhere Auktionspreise erzielen, so wurde im Dezember 2019 die Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 250.000,00 (€ 222.677,47) versteigert.
