This artwork by Fred Eversley achieved an unexpectedly high price at Bonhams in Los Angeles in April last year. In the Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art auction, the work Untitled, 1970 sold for USD 214,575.00 (€ 203,639.56) - well above the upper estimate of USD 120,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Fred Eversley; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot without title sold at auction in December 2019 with the realized price of USD 250,000.00 (€ 222,677.47).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Fred Eversley erzielte im April letzten Jahres bei Bonhams in Los Angeles einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Made in CaliforniaContemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Untitled, 1970 für USD 214.575,00 (€ 203.639,56) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 120.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Fred Eversley; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Dezember 2019 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 222.677,47).
