A top price for Frederic Whiting - as previously expected
The work The Guthrie Children by Frederic Whiting was auctioned at Christies in London in December 2014. The auction ended at the price of GBP 50,000.00 (€ 64,366.58), which exactly corresponded to the upper end of the estimated price range of GBP 30,000.00 – 50,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, The Guthrie Children is the most expensive artwork by Frederic Whiting that we have observed at auctions so far.
