Upper estimated price slightly exceeded

Here, the upper estimate of USD 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 1,553.50 (€ 1,585.85). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederick Schiller Cozzens achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work American yachts, their clubs and races in February 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 60,377.36).

Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 1.553,50 (€ 1.585,85) einen neuen Besitzer.
