Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Bronco Buster by Frederic Remington was auctioned at Bonhams in April this year. The price achieved of USD 57,075.00 (€ 51,698.37) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederic Remington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coming Through the Rye in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 11,223,500.00 (€ 9,988,875.04).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 57.075,00 (€ 51.698,37) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederic Remington erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coming Through the Rye im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.223.500,00 (€ 9.988.875,04).
