Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work "Huskie" Dogs on the Frozen Highway (Talking Musquash) by Frederic Remington was auctioned at Christies in New York in May last year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 100,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 100,800.00 (€ 93,933.46). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Frederic Remington achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Coming Through the Rye in May 2017 with an auction result of USD 11,223,500.00 (€ 9,988,875.04).

Die Arbeit "Huskie" Dogs on the Frozen Highway (Talking Musquash) von Frederic Remington kam im Mai letzten Jahres bei Christies in New York zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 100.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 100.800,00 (€ 93.933,46) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Frederic Remington erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Coming Through the Rye im Mai 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 11.223.500,00 (€ 9.988.875,04).
