Despite a disappointment, a good price for Frederic Amat
This work of art by Frederic Amat could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2006 for an unexpectedly low price. In the The House Sale auction, the work Jardi I changed hands for USD 2,880.00 (€ 2,254.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 3,000.00 – 5,000.00. Despite this disappointing result, Jardi I is the most expensive artwork by Frederic Amat that we have observed at auction so far.
