Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Fred Zinnemann could be acquired at Christies in New York in September 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs from the Isadore and Kelly Friedman Collection auction, the work Broad Street, New York, 1932 changed hands for USD 687.50 (€ 483.51) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 1,500.00 – 2,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Zinnemann achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pepsodent, Times Square, New York, November in April 2010 with an auction result of USD 7,500.00 (€ 5,638.25).
