Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2002 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Pheasant Hunting in Oregon by Fred Ludekens. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 1,500.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,075.50 (€ 1,097.90) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Fred Ludekens have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in February last year the work Los Angeles. American Airlines was auctioned for GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,219.47).

Im Juli 2002 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pheasant Hunting in Oregon von Fred Ludekens zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.075,50 (€ 1.097,90) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
