In February last year Bonhams in London held the auction 19th and 20th Century Vintage Posters, which included the work Los Angeles. American Airlines by Fred Ludekens. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,020.00 (€ 1,219.47), 46% above the upper estimate. With this result, Los Angeles. American Airlines is even the most expensive work of art by Fred Ludekens that we have observed at auctions so far.
