It achieved a price of GBP 3,750.00 (€ 5,341.32), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 25%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Fred Appleyard achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Moonrise and Memories in May 2000 with an auction result of GBP 41,125.00 (€ 65,990.46).

Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 3.750,00 (€ 5.341,32) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 25%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Fred Appleyard erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Moonrise and Memories im Mai 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 41.125,00 (€ 65.990,46).
