Auction result well in line with expectations
In April 2001 Christies in London held the auction 19TH CENTURY EUROPEAN ART, which included the work Summer flowers in a ceramic vase, and a glass of water and pendant alongside, a landscape beyond by Franz Xaver Wolf. The price achieved of GBP 8,225.00 (€ 13,259.73) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 7,000.00 – 9,000.00. Other works by Franz Xaver Wolf have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in June 2000 the work Roses, poppies, sweet peas and other summer flowers in a vase on a marble ledge was auctioned for GBP 9,987.50 (€ 15,831.42).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 8.225,00 (€ 13.259,73) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 7.000,00 – 9.000,00 angegeben worden.
