The price achieved of USD 10,000.00 (€ 7,661.07) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Admittedly, works by Franz Kaisermann have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum in July 2012 with an auction result of GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,027.61).
