Auction result well in line with expectations
The work A: The Temple Of Antoninus And Faustina In The Roman Forum; B: The Tomb Of Cecilia Metella On The Via Appia Antica by Franz Kaisermann was auctioned at Sothebys in London in July 2011. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,476.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Kaisermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,027.61).

Die Arbeit A: The Temple Of Antoninus And Faustina In The Roman Forum; B: The Tomb Of Cecilia Metella On The Via Appia Antica von Franz Kaisermann kam im Juli 2011 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.476,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Franz Kaisermann mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum beobachtet, die im Juli 2012 für GBP 27.500,00 (€ 35.027,61) versteigert wurde.
