The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,476.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Franz Kaisermann - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Arch Of Constantine And Part Of The Colosseum, which sold at auction in July 2012 for GBP 27,500.00 (€ 35,027.61).
